Joel Embiid has been the center of attention so far in the first-round series between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Brooklyn Nets. The Sixers have won the first three games and are on the verge of sweeping the Nets. But the conversations about Embiid haven’t just been about his team’s success.

Joel Embiid has been called out for flopping a lot recently, with the narrative gathering steam following a compilation of him hitting the floor going viral. And now fans have made fun of the way he screams following another clip making the rounds on Twitter.

NBA fans online can be a little extra when it comes to their criticism and their passion. But when they set their minds to it, they can be really funny. Nobody would call Joel Embiid the GOAT, but one fan called him a goat in reply to this video.

Animals seem to be a prime choice to compare to Embiid for fans who listened to his scream. One reply hilariously mentioned a different animal than a goat.

It wasn’t just animals that can be found on this planet that Embiid was compared to. A famous Star Wars character made a quick appearance in one of the mentions.

Prehistoric animals also got named in this roast of Joel Embiid, with one fan comparing the way he sounds to baby dinosaurs from the iconic ‘Land Before Time’ animated series.

These reactions are enough to make anyone crack up, and it’s hard to disagree that Joel Embiid sounds funny when he screams. The Sixers’ big man will likely bag the MVP award this season, but fans seem intent on calling him out for the things he does that they don’t quite respect.

Joel Embiid Has Struggled With Discipline During This Series Against The Nets

With most stars, the things that are said about them by others don’t faze them. But Joel Embiid has made it a point to hit back on criticism directed at him in this series. He went at Nets Head Coach Jacque Vaughn when he questioned the way referees treat Embiid.

He also kicked Nic Claxton and this led to calls for him to be suspended. The NBA decided not to take any action against him, with Embiid again calling out the Nets for trying to bait him into getting ejected. It’s a shame that these extra-curricular activities are distracting from the clinical efficiency the Sixers have shown in dismantling the Nets, but it’s hard to ignore a lot of this stuff.
