Karl-Anthony Towns had an expletive-filled message to doubters who believed the Minnesota Timberwolves’ three-big men-pronged approach wouldn’t help them land a title in the modern NBA.

Per a Bleacher Report tweet, the forward had an NSFW message to those scoffing at the idea.

“F***ing watch us.”

Towns did not mince any words in his response and the query by the fans comes on the back of the team re-signing Naz Reid to a mammoth contract earlier during the free agency, as a result of which they are dominated by bigs on the side.

With the onus on Towns and Anthony Edwards to churn the offense, the bigs will look to add more teeth to their defense and now, if they manage to stay healthy, the Wolves will be one of the more threatening units to go against. And on his part, Towns is more than just supremely confident.

Karl-Anthony Towns Says He’s Saving His Left Ring Finger For A Championship

Earlier this year, Karl-Anthony Towns garnered immense flak for saying he changed the game. He later followed it up with another bold claim.

“I’m saving this finger for a championship,” says Towns, pointing to his left ring finger. “I’ve won at every level, except college, unfortunately,” the forward told GQ in a recent interview.

In the 2023 playoffs, Towns averaged 18.2 PPG, 10.2 RPG, 2.0 APG, 0.6 SPG, and 0.8 BPG while shooting 45.7% from the field and 25.0% from beyond the arc.

While the numbers are decent, the Wolves could definitely use more from him who has made some big claims since the start of last season before going down with an injury.

For now, the team has decided to run it back with the same core and only time will tell if they can make the impact.
