The Los Angeles Clippers have one of the most talented rosters in the NBA, at least on paper. The dynamic duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George is paired up with good supporting players.

Moreover, the Clippers added Russell Westbrook to the roster as well. Theoretically, Russ’ addition to the roster should have made the Clippers better, and they should be on a winning streak. Instead, the Clippers are 0-3 since Westbrook made his debut. But Kawhi Leonard is certainly not worried about the team’s recent slump.

“It’s a lot of new pieces here,” Kawhi said. “Those guys are playing some minutes, so just learning the style of how T-Lue is coaching and our defense. You know could make some mistakes here and there. You could see our experience on court at times, but we just gotta keep building our chemistry with each other.”

Kawhi Leonard is not worried about the team’s recent slump because they have added a few new pieces. It takes some time to build chemistry with new players, and Russell Westbrook also agreed with Kawhi.

Westbrook had a similar response to what Leonard said in the postgame conference and gave assurance to fans after being 0-3 since his arrival.

Tyronn Lue May Have To Make Some Changes In The Starting Lineup

Prior to Russell Westbrook’s addition to the roster, the Los Angeles Clippers were enjoying a good patch of the 2022-23 NBA season.

It was recently brought to attention by NBA analyst Farbod Esnaashari that the Clippers had a 10-2 record when head coach Tyronn Lue started the trio of Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Terance Mann together.

The Clippers currently have a 33-31 record and hold the 6th seed in the Western Conference. But the competition in the West is very severe this season.

So instead of waiting for the new trio with Westbrook to work, Tyronn Lue may be forced to fall back on the trio that has actually worked for the team so far this season.
