Kevin Durant Praises Nikola Jokic: “He’ll Go Down As One Of The All-Time Great Centers That Ever Touched A Basketball”

Nikola Jokic dominated the Phoenix Suns in the Western Conference Semifinals. The Joker proved once again why he is one of the best players in the league.

After the Game 6 loss, Kevin Durant of the Suns addressed Jokic’s talents. KD labeled Jokic as one of the best centers of all time to ever play in the NBA.

“I always have respect. I always knew how great he was. Not surprised that these guys are good, especially somebody like Jokic, I’ve been watching him, played against him before. I won’t say I learnt something new, great team, multiple guys that play well together. Jokic is all-time great. He’ll go down as one of the all-time great centers that ever touched a basketball. He went out there and did what he was supposed to do.”

Nikola Jokic averaged 34.5 PPG, 13.2 RPG, and 10.3 APG over six games vs. the Phoenix Suns. He averaged a triple-double for the series, and if that’s not a sign of the best player center in the league, then we don’t know what is.

Moreover, eliminating a team featuring Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Chris Paul, and Deandre Ayton is no small feat either. The Nuggets are now undoubtedly the favorites to advance to the 2023 NBA Finals.


Nikola Jokic Wants To Relax While Waiting For His Next Opponent

Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets have a few days of rest before playing basketball again. The Western Conference Finals will begin on May 16, 2023.

The two-time NBA MVP was asked about his plans while waiting for his next opponent. Jokic had a hilarious response to the question during the postgame interview.

“Probably watch my friend race horses in Italy,” Jokic said. “Be around my family. Hopefully, there’s going to be a sunny so I can be outside [in] the swimming pool. So, relaxing.”

Whether the Nuggets face off against the Warriors or the Lakers in the postseason, it will be a thrilling series for fans.
