As LeBron James walked off the court at the end of Game 4, most fans considered the season a major win for his legacy after working all season to save his squad and make a respectable playoff run. But former NBA lottery pick Kwame Brown was unimpressed by LeBron’s 40-point performance.

In fact, speaking after the game, Kwame ripped LeBron and called him a stat padder for using the refs as a bailout. He also questioned LeBron’s greatness for not stepping up and getting at least one win against the Nuggets

“You’re a stat-sheet junkie, you’re a bad boy when it comes to stats. Throughout history all the little nerds are gonna look up your stat line and say, ‘he got to be the greatest player that ever played the game’ and people who actually play the game are gonna know that’s some bullsh*t. I have never seen a guy of your supposed caliber not even get a shot off… you got all these points, but you were looking for a bailout again. Kobe Bryant probably would have rose up for a three and won the game. That’s what great players do. You can’t say that you are great, you have to do great things.”

Kwame Brown Is A Notorious LeBron James Hater

LeBron has a lot of doubters, but Brown is among the worst by far. He’s always going against the 4x champion and challenging his legacy as an NBA superstar. Right or wrong, it seems that Kwame believes that LeBron is all about stats and lacks the same impact as a true closer like Kobe Bryant.

“When I saw brother LeBron watching the stat sheet, that told me all I needed to know about why the Lakers losing,” said Kwame back in January. “So for LeBron to be looking at the stat sheet on the bench, that was the wrong message to send. That was horrible and none of you players should ever emulate that… Kobe Bryant would have never done that.”

It doesn’t take a genius to see that Brown is being far too critical of James. With so many accomplishments under his belt, the results speak for themselves when it comes to LeBron and his track record in the playoffs.

Sadly, this year’s loss is making some people forget about the past to focus on kicking LeBron while he’s down.
