Lakers fans had a lot to say about the team's recent loss to the Grizzlies.

The Los Angeles Lakers recently lost to the Memphis Grizzlies, with the final score being 109-121. There’s no doubt that this was a disappointing loss for the team, as they need every win they can get to make the playoffs.

After the game, a lot of fans reacted to the Lakers’ recent performance. Many were upset about the loss. For example, some fans have already criticized the Los Angeles Lakers and Anthony Davis for being poor when LeBron James isn’t playing.

It’s astonishing on how disconnected this team is without LeBron being on the court.. pathetic pic.twitter.com/lN1HwxuNRp

AD can’t carry this team to a W. Bron been trying to make him into a Leader but he doesn’t have it. Period.

Other people criticized the team for their turnovers on the evening, as the Lakers had 26 turnovers compared to the Grizzlies’ 6.

We had 26 turnovers, they had 6. It’s impossible to win like that

There were some who put the blame on coach Darvin Ham, who has notably been criticized throughout the year.

There were some positives for the Los Angeles Lakers this game though, with Anthony Davis putting up 28 points, 19 rebounds, and 5 blocks in the loss. It is clear that the star is back to his dominant ways, though he might have to reach an even higher level to ensure the Los Angeles Lakers make the playoffs.

Hopefully, we see the Los Angeles Lakers make the playoffs this year. They definitely have the talent to do so, but it is clear that their margin for error for the rest of the season will be very slim. LeBron James’ recent injury isn’t ideal, but they can still be a solid playoff team if they stay afloat while he’s hurt.

The Los Angeles Lakers Could Still Be A Good Team This Year

There is no doubt that the Los Angeles Lakers got better after the trade deadline this season. In fact, Lakers legend Michael Cooper suggested that the team could compete for the championship if they got to the playoffs healthy.

“All of this is predicated on the health of the Lakers,” said Cooper. “LeBron suffered an injury last night, Anthony Davis has to stay healthy. If the Lakers can stay healthy and these young men start to gel even better, I don’t care what the top 6 teams are, I am going to be scared to play the Lakers. The Lakers are not a team you want to see in a 5 or 7-game series because they are getting better. It all depends on the health of the Lakers, if they get into the playoffs healthy, they could challenge for a championship.”

Though Michael Cooper is clearly higher on the Los Angeles Lakers than most people, it is clear that the Lakers could be a dangerous lower seed this year, especially in a weak Western Conference.

Hopefully, we see the Los Angeles Lakers get far this year. There are still things to be positive about for the Lakers, and with a little luck, they could end up surprising a lot of people.
