The Lakers Move One Game Within .500 Once Again
The Lakers now have a 36-37 record, back within a game of hitting .500 for the first time this season. Every time the Lakers have been in this position, they have lost a game and had to rework toward this goal. With a tricky matchup against play-in rivals Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday, the Lakers will hope to finally break the jinx.
Austin Reaves has proven his value as a starter and was given the chance tonight after weeks of fans clamoring for it. LeBron James is still out with an injury, but he is expected to be re-evaluated tomorrow to get a final timetable on when he will return. While coming back for the OKC game is unlikely, the Lakers will hope they have their star back for the end of the season, as the Lakers have a crucial game against the Los Angeles Clippers on April 5.
