LaVar Ball Predicts The Ball Brothers Could End Up In L.A. After LeBron James And Anthony Davis Leave The Lakers

2 Min Read

The Los Angeles Lakers have enjoyed dominance and prosperity since LeBron James and Anthony Davis joined forces last season. With amazing talent and perfect chemistry, the Purple and Gold likely have even more years of greatness ahead of them.

But when it’s all said and done, and the day arrives that both James and Davis depart from L.A., who is to say that they won’t find a new core to rally around?

According to the infamous LaVar Ball, all three of his boys could end up wearing Lakers jerseys in the future…

“When their contracts are over, who’s to say that [when] all the LeBron drama and everything in L.A. is over with and they losing, my Ball boys decide, at the top of their game, they say, ‘You know what? Let’s all decide to go to L.A.

“Who ain’t gonna take them Ball boys? … [When] AD is gone — his contract is up — LeBron is gone, I mean, you gonna need a buzz and you want to win! Now, the Ball boys say, ‘We back in L.A. What’s going on?’”

LaVar isn’t exactly the harbinger of truth. He’s a guy who leans on hyperbole and speaks about his hopes, dreams, and opinions like they are fact.

Still, considering how good Lonzo and LaMelo have looked recently, it wouldn’t be a bad thing for the Lakers to take them on when their current situation changes. Despite a dark and complicated history between the Lakers and the Ball family, it’s not hard to imagine a world where they reunite.

Nevertheless, we’ll have to see what happens…
