LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are apparently starting a new chapter in the 2022-23 NBA season. The King returned to the court last night after missing the past two games with an ankle injury, leading his team to a big win against the New Orleans Pelicans.

It was a great game for the 4x NBA champion, and Lakers fans are very excited about the future of this team, which added a series of players ahead of the 2023 trade deadline, and they’re already making noise. The King is ready to continue his quest for a 5th NBA championship, and these new-look Lakers appear to be ready to compete for that.

While things appear to be going well for the Lakers following their most recent win, it wouldn’t be like that after all. Recent reports suggest that the Purple and Gold might be having some issues amid their good moment.

LeBron James Is Reportedly Frustrated With Certain Things Within The Lakers Organization

According to Colin Cowherd, there might be something odd between LeBron James and Anthony Davis, as the King is reportedly unhappy with AD’s lack of availability this season. The big man has missed a series of games due to injuries, and this might become an issue for him and James. The veteran analyst recently explained that LBJ is taking AD accountable, and the latter could find a new team soon.

“LeBron and his camp have been frustrated by how many minutes he has to play,” Cowherd said on The Herd.

“They can’t depend on Anthony Davis. They are also mad that Darvin Ham (Lakers coach) is not keeping the pressure on Anthony Davis … I talked to an NBA source who I’ve known for a long tie, he said the Dallas Mavericks and Anthony Davis, keep your eye on it.”

Things might be going bad for them, and while LeBron is trying to keep everybody on the same page, the situation could create issues between the two superstars.

“Anthony Davis is pouting, LeBron’s holding him accountable, LeBron’s not happy with him, AD’s gone into a funk, it’s not a coincidence.”

The Los Angeles Lakers are in the playoff hunt again, and with their new-look team, the 17-time NBA champions look very good for the remainder of the 2022-23 NBA season. D’Angelo Russell is already making noise in his return to the Purple and Gold, and the Lakers can take big advantage of this.

This season has been a total challenge for the Lakers, and perhaps things can change after last night’s win. While other teams made incredible moves at the deadline, the Lakers added a couple of pieces to maximize their chances, and now it’s time to see what they can do.
