Even before playing in the NBA, LeBron James became a household name in the United States of America because of his phenomenal skills as a high schooler.

Peacock’s recent movie, “Shooting Stars,” focused on James’ life in high school. The movie took fans through the journey of St. Vincent-St. Mary’s “Fab Five” featuring LeBron James, Dru Joyce III, Romeo Travis, Sian Cotton, and Willie McGee. James recently tweeted about the film being the best sports movie of all time.

While NBA fans agreed that it’s a good movie, they don’t believe it’s the best sports movie ever. Fans were pretty vocal about their thoughts on Twitter.

A fan trolled LeBron by using a hashtag.

A fan thought James would say Space Jam 2.

Another fan thought the movie was awful.

A fan thinks it was nowhere close to being the best basketball movie ever.

A fan tweeted that Coach Carter is the only right answer to this question.

The film was released online on June 02, 2023, via Peacock streaming service. The overall quality of the movie wasn’t up to the mark, as it attained a 6.5 rating on IMDb. But LeBron wouldn’t care about those ratings. After all, the film is based on his life.

LeBron James Is Happy With The Los Angeles Lakers Free Agency Moves

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers were swept by the Denver Nuggets in the 2023 Western Conference Finals. Following the elimination, LeBron dropped hints about potentially retiring from the league after playing for 20 years.

However, many believed it was James’ plan to put pressure on the Lakers to sign quality players in the offseason. The Lakers general manager didn’t disappoint the King by re-signing the likes of Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, and D’Angelo Russell. On the other hand, the team also added players such as Gabe Vincent, Taurean Prince, and Cam Reddish.

James shared a collage featuring all the moves made by the Lakers in the free agency on his Instagram story. It is certainly a hint that the King will be back to don the iconic Purple and Gold jersey for the 2023-24 NBA season.
