LeBron James looked on from the bench as the Los Angeles Lakers pulled off a big 105-1113 win against the Golden State Warriors in Stephen Curry’s return from injury.

During a big first-quarter run for the Lakers where they took a 13-point lead, Curry was arguing with the referee after a missed foul, which led LeBron James to jokingly push Steph away.

LeBron and Curry may have been defining rivals over the last decade but they’re good friends too. There was no malice behind what James did and it made for a heartwarming moment between two players that were having on-court arguments in the NBA Finals.

LeBron James Watching His Team Stay Steady Without Him

LeBron James will have to watch from the sidelines for another few weeks as the Lakers hope to keep the team’s playoff charge alive without James on the court. His foot injury needs to heal properly, so the Lakers and the players will try to continue winning to ensure James doesn’t need to rush back.  They’re 2-2 without LeBron in this stretch.

The Lakers were led by a dominant Anthony Davis performance, who had 39 points on the night. Curry’s return saw him score 27 on 40% shooting, not the return he would have liked. LeBron was extremely pleased after the win as well.

LA is tied with Utah with a 31-34 record, with the New Orleans Pelicans being just half a game ahead of them. Even with Utah’s record, the Lakers have lost both their games to the Jazz and will be placed behind them in the standings. However, it looks like the team can safely book a play-in spot with the struggles of the teams around them.
