Lonnie Walker IV had the most impactful 15-point game of the playoffs last night, as he scored all of those points in the fourth quarter to help the Lakers complete a comeback Game 4 win over the Warriors to take a 3-1 series lead.
After the game, Walker shared pictures of him being embraced by LeBron James and Anthony Davis, him sitting on the court and smiling, giving his post-game interview, and an impossible mid-range shot he hit straight over Stephen Curry defending him. He added a warning message ‘candle stay lit’ for the Lakers going forward.

Walker wasn’t a part of the Lakers’ rotation to begin the playoffs, with Troy Brown Jr. playing ahead of him. He’s gotten chances in this Warriors’ series and has solidified a spot for the next few games based on his fourth-quarter explosion last night. He has self-admittedly worked hard to get his recognition and he won’t be willing to give it away after this performance.
Can They Keep The Same Energy In Game 5?
Lonnie Walker IV got to capitalize on a Warriors team that was clearly losing their legs at the end of the contest and couldn’t match his energy. With their home crowd revving them in Game 5, the Warriors will look to not be outhustled by their opponents. The quality of the Lakers’ depth is really shining in this series and causing the Warriors a lot of issues.
Beyond the Warriors’ starting five, they’re depending on inconsistent production from Moses Moody, JaMychal Green, and Jordan Poole primarily. The Lakers have multiple weapons off their bench, primarily Rui Hachimura, Dennis Schroder, and Lonnie. The bench stars will decide who wins this series and Game 5 will be the last chance for the likes of Poole to show up and save their team.
