The Washington Wizards are reportedly ready to move Bradley Beal away and start a new era in franchise history. The shooting guard has been a sought-after player for a minute now, and it’s time for the team to move him.

As of right now, two teams are the frontrunners to acquire his services, with Shams Charania of The Athletic reporting that the Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns are the finalists to land Beal this offseason.

“Developing: Washington is in serious talks with two finalists – Miami and Phoenix – on a Bradley Beal trade, sources tell [The Athletic and Stadium]. The Suns have emerged as a serious threat for Beal, who holds a no-trade clause.”

These two are big landing spots for Beal, as they both have championship expectations next year. The Heat just played in the 2023 NBA Finals as the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference Finals. Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and co. would benefit a lot from a player like Beal, who has been one of the best scorers in the league for a while.

The Phoenix Suns were the team that won the most games against the eventual champions Denver Nuggets, losing 4-2 in the Second Round of the playoff. Adding Beal to Kevin Durant and Devin Booker would be huge for the Suns, who lack depth during the 2023 playoffs run.

Beal is a three-time NBA All-Star, having played his entire 11-season career with the Wizards. In 695 regular-season games, he has averaged 22.1 points, 4.3 assists, and 4.1 rebounds.

Out of these two teams, the Heat would be better off with Beal on the roster, as they can use his scoring abilities to go take that final step in the postseason. The Suns already have two elite scorers on the roster, and Beal doesn’t seem like a big upgrade for them.

Bradley Beal Reportedly Had Miami High On His List Of Preferred Teams

Recent reports suggested that Beal had the Miami Heat on his list of teams, and it seems like he can make that desire come to fruition soon.

The Milwaukee Bucks were mentioned among the potential suitors for his services, but only two could make the final cut. An announcement on this is imminent, and fans are waiting to see where Beal will play next.
