LaMelo Ball is under fire right now for making a dangerous move while driving his car. The Charlotte Hornets star hasn’t had an easy 2022-23 NBA season, as he’s been dealing with injuries and struggling to get things going.

Now, the point guard is ready to recover his best form and help his team at least fight for a play-in spot. That seems to be a really hard job since the Hornets rank 14th in the East, and nothing suggests they will get much better the rest of the season.

Meanwhile, Melo is enjoying his time around the city, although sometimes he doesn’t act right while in public. A recent video was shared, and Melo was seen driving his hologram car. As he exited the parking lot, Melo let one car go, and then when another one tried to continue their route, the player cut it off and took off.

LaMelo Ball Criticized By Fans For His Decisions While Driving

Of course, this maneuver was met with criticism and the youngest Ball brother received a lot of bad comments from fans for putting himself and the other driver in a dangerous position.

Melo and the Hornets had bigger expectations coming into this season, but the campaign has panned out differently than expected. The flashy point guard hasn’t been on the court as much as he and his team would like, but Melo is trying his best to lead the squad to achieve big things. So far, he’s missed the playoff every season, and even his father is unhappy with that.

This season appears to be a wasted one, as the Hornets are the second-worst team in the East, which won’t change anytime soon. This season, the former No. 2 overall pick is averaging 23.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game in 23 matches.

The Hornets are 14-36 after a win against the struggling Chicago Bulls, with Melo dropping 15 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and dishing 8 assists.
