The Boston Celtics became the last team to book their tickets to the Conference Finals after they demolished the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 7 on Sunday.

They joined the Miami Heat, Denver Nuggets, and Los Angeles Lakers as the final four remaining in the playoffs, and NBA fans debated which of the four will get their hands on the big prize.

A Lakers fan thinks there is no doubt that his team will be the one lifting the trophy.

You’d have to say the Celtics are the favorites as of now, but considering they have had some hiccups along the way, it is hardly a foregone conclusion that they’ll win. It took them seven games to beat the Heat in the Conference Finals last year and you’d expect another hard-fought battle between the two sides.

The series between the Lakers and the Nuggets is quite hard to predict, as it really can go either way. The Lakers’ defense, led by Anthony Davis, has been phenomenal in these playoffs, with head coach Darvin Ham comparing it to the 2004 Detroit Pistons, while the Nuggets’ offense has been unstoppable, with Nikola Jokic being at his dominant best. It will be interesting to see which unit comes out on top in that battle.

We Have A Repeat Of The Bubble Here

The four teams left standing are exactly the same as in the Bubble back in 2020, which should put to bed all the talk regarding that season needing to have an asterisk. Sure, the circumstances were unique, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that the teams which had success deserved a ton of credit.

It was, of course, the Lakers who ended up winning it all as they first beat the Nuggets in five games and then the Heat in six. If they do pull that off, it would go down as one of the greatest turnarounds in NBA history after they started the season 2-10.
