The Miami Heat defeated the Boston Celtics in Game 7, capping off a thrilling Eastern Conference Finals series. The game ended up with a final score of 103-84, and the Celtics were never close to the Heat.

After the game, a lot of fans roasted the Boston Celtics for losing on their home court in a poor fashion. Many expected to at least see the game be close. There were some that roasted star Jaylen Brown for his poor performance. Brown only finished with 19 points on 8-23 shooting with 8 turnovers.

Another fan pointed out that Jaylen Brown had more turnovers than the entire Heat team.

We saw some people jokingly compare Caleb Martin to Michael Jordan.

It is clear that this was an unexpected outcome, as the Celtics were favored to win from a talent standpoint. Still, history tells us that teams never come back up from 3-0 down, and the Celtics were unable to make history today,

Now, the Miami Heat will go on to face the Denver Nuggets in the Finals. They will definitely be the underdogs in this matchup as well, as the Nuggets have former MVP Nikola Jokic leading them. Jimmy Butler and the Heat have defied the odds before though, and we’ll see what happens in the future.
