With the Phoenix Suns in danger of falling down 0-3 in the Western Conference Semifinals, it was time for their stars to step up and Devin Booker did just that.

The Suns guard exploded for 47 points to lead his team to a 121-114 win over the Denver Nuggets in Game 3 and NBA fans were full of praise for him following that spectacular showing.

A fan believes Booker is the closest thing to Kobe Bryant in the league at the moment.

A Suns fan thinks Booker is the best player in the league now.

The fact that it took such a special performance to win by seven points makes a fan think the series will still be over in five games.

A fan felt Booker played like Michael Jordan in Game 3.

A fan believes Booker showed here that he is indeed better than Jamal Murray.

Booker was a ridiculous 20-25 from the field and 5-8 from beyond the arc here. He also had 6 rebounds, 9 assists, 3 steals, and a block in a sensational display. He had some help from Kevin Durant who had 39 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists, and 2 blocks, but he shot just 12-31 from the field. KD has been uncharacteristically inefficient in this series and if it continues, then it is hard to be optimistic that the Suns will manage to come back and win this series.

For the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic had 30 points, 17 rebounds, 17 assists, and a block while Jamal Murray had 32 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists, but he struggled from beyond the arc, going 1-6. He missed quite a few shots down the stretch which could have potentially helped the Nuggets get the win here. The stakes are now incredibly high for Game 4, and Denver would be keen to get the win there to take control of this series.

Devin Booker Has Been Sensational In These Playoffs

These playoffs have seen the likes of Jimmy Butler and Stephen Curry put on a show but one could argue Booker has been the best player in this postseason. He is now averaging 36.9 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 6.9 APG, 2.1 SPG, and 1.0 BPG over his eight games. Booker is also shooting 60.2% from the field, 48.9% from beyond the arc, and 87.5% from the line, which is just absurd.

If Durant can just get back to his usual efficient ways, then the Nuggets are in a bit of trouble, as they have no answers for Booker, just like the Los Angeles Clippers didn’t in the first round
