NBA Fans React To Kareem’s Health Scare
It’s only been a year and a half since the passing of Celtics legend Bill Russell, so the NBA world is still healing from the loss of that icon. In the case of Kareem, his time hasn’t come yet it seems as the latest update indicates a clean bill of health for the former Lakers big man.
Still, it didn’t stop the fans from showering the legend in their support and social media was buzzing with well wishes for the NBA Hall of Famer.

Needless to say, everyone was relieved when Kareem was confirmed to be doing well and it’s good that the legend is back on the path to recovery. While it’s been some time since his playing days, Kareem’s impact is felt across the sports world and it looks like he’ll be here to carry on his legacy for at least a little while longer.
Kareem Is A Living Legend
While LeBron James and Michael Jordan are at the top of the GOAT debate, there was a point when Kareem was also a part of that conversation. As a 19x All-Star, 6x MVP, 6x champion, and 2x scoring leader, Jabbar had an impressive run in the NBA particularly as a Laker, when he won five titles in an eight-year span.
Today, while Kareem’s game is starting to fade from memory, his legacy has never been stronger. Up until last season, he was the league’s all-time leader in points, and his iconic “sky hook” has yet to be topped as the most unstoppable move in basketball history. Even in modern times, decades after his retirement, Kareem continues to stay connected to the game and his accomplished career continues to be the standard for excellence for players all across the world.
