Over the last few weeks, Ja Morant has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. He was majorly in the news for brandishing a gun on his Instagram Live.

Since then, Morant has been constantly criticized for his actions. Most of this criticism has been extremely ruthless and understandably so. But on a positive note, an NBA fan on Twitter recently found old images of Ja Morant on an old Instagram account of the Memphis Grizzlies superstar.

Morant looked like a little kid in the two images and posted the said pictures with hilarious captions. However, NBA fans on Twitter saw it as an opportunity to roast the NBA star.

Comments have been edited for clarification:

“Ja Morant when he sees this post,” a fan tweeted.

“Ja’s agent right now,” a fan posted a short clip of Ja Morant’s agent’s reaction to the images.

“When the bartender called the last call and I been drinking water all night,” another fan tweeted.

“This Ja right now!” a fan tweeted Ja’s reaction to the images.

“Lmao, this just proves he’s not faking a persona he’s always been acting like that,” a fan’s tweet read.

Just like any other kid when they get access to social media, Ja Morant would never have thought about getting roasted for posting these images a decade or so ago.

But we are sure after looking at them today, he will certainly get a tad bit embarrassed. Either way, it somewhat proves that Morant always wanted to live that ‘gangster lifestyle.’

Ja Morant Received An 8-Game Suspension From The NBA

Many were closely observing what the NBA will do after conducting its investigation of Morant’s gun-flashing incident on Instagram Live.

After days of waiting, the league finally decided to hand Morant an 8-game suspension without pay. The situation could have been even worse for the Memphis Grizzlies, but they will be happy to get Ja back soon.

As for Morant, he revealed how he learned the importance of the game of baseball when he was away from it. Hopefully, Morant has learned his lesson and will not repeat such irresponsible actions again in the future.

The Grizzlies are currently 41-27 and hold the third seed in the Western Conference. So they should be able to do just fine until Morant returns to the roster.
