Stephen Curry is one of the most prominent superstars in the NBA, and he has a huge fan following. There is no doubt that he is a figure that many look up to, and there are kids all over the United States that idolize Stephen Curry.

Perhaps Stephen Curry’s popularity and personality could one day put him in a public office position. Draymond Green has recently shared his belief that Stephen Curry could run for the United States presidency one day, pointing out that the point guard is “smart” and “doesn’t really make mistakes”.

Draymond Green: “I think Steph could someday run for president of the United States. Smart, put together, doesn’t really make mistakes. Why not?”

Draymond Green: “I think Steph could someday run for president of the United States. Smart, put together, doesn’t really make mistakes. Why not?”

As of right now, it is clear that Stephen Curry doesn’t necessarily have the experience to be president, as he has not held a political position yet. However, we cannot rule out the slight possibility of that happening in the future, and seeing Stephen Curry as the president of the United States would be interesting, to say the least.

Stephen Curry Is Politically Active

Even though Stephen Curry isn’t exactly a politician, he is still a politically active celebrity that tends to fight for causes important to him and to the world. He even advocated for Brittney Griner during the NBA Finals last year, claiming that she “needs to be safe”.

“We’re over 110 days that she’s been wrongfully detained, It is an unfortunate situation, it’s a tragedy. She needs to be home. She needs to be safe. She needs to be with her family.”

“Right now, it’s just about getting her home and everybody joining that effort, joining that front to make sure she’s talked about… All hands are on deck, and all resources thrown at getting her home as soon as possible. I know those efforts are ongoing, and hopefully there’ll be some positive end to this story.”

As of right now, Stephen Curry is still playing at a high level with the Golden State Warriors as a superstar in the NBA. Any talk of him running for office would likely be later in his life when he needs a new challenge other than chasing championships in the league.

It will be interesting to see what Stephen Curry pursues after he retires from the league. Public speaking is clearly a strength of his, and it is clear that some believe that he could one day have a political career.
