John Wall is a point guard that has struggled this season with the Los Angeles Clippers. Though he is still putting up a solid 11.4 PPG and 5.2 APG, he has been extremely inefficient. He is clearly a player that the team could potentially move ahead of the trade deadline in some sort of upgrade.

A recent report from Shams Charania of The Athletic revealed that the Los Angeles Clippers have “discussed” trades involving John Wall while “searching for depth in the frontcourt”. Ivica Zubac is the only quality big man on the team right now, and it is clear that the team is trying to address that issue.

The Clippers are searching for depth in the frontcourt and have discussed guard John Wall in potential deals, league sources say. Behind Ivica Zubac, the Clippers have relied heavily on two-way big man Moses Brown but have also looked into a more accomplished center.

The Los Angeles Clippers have a number of tradeable players that they could potentially package with John Wall to get a deal for a quality big man. It could also be a smaller upgrade as well, and the team was notably linked with Mo Bamba in the past.

The Los Angeles Clippers Are One Of The Teams Interested In Myles Turner

A premier center that the Los Angeles Clippers could potentially make a trade for is Indiana Pacers shot-blocker, Myles Turner. A previous report revealed that the Clippers have an interest in him if he doesn’t get re-signed by the Pacers.

The team had previously shopped Myles Turner for multiple deadlines, but when they landed Tyrese Haliburton from the Kings, they needed to give up Domantas Sabonis.

That may lead to a recommitment to Turner, who will be a free agent this summer. Still, plenty of teams have interest if the Pacers change course, including the Lakers, Clippers and Warriors.

Myles Turner would definitely fit with the Los Angeles Clippers, whether it is as a starting center or backup option. Regardless, he’d likely play heavy minutes based on his 3PT shooting and rim protection.

The Los Angeles Clippers have been inconsistent during this regular season, and it is clear that they need to make some sort of move to stay afloat until the playoffs. Getting a big man would help some of the team’s issues, and we’ll see what the front office decides to do ahead of the trade deadline.
