Gilbert Arenas and Kwame Brown started as teammates on the Wizards but have now ended up becoming rivals who despise each other. Gilbert Arenas recently saw a clip of Kwame Brown on social media and decided to call him out over it.

In the clip, Brown is trying to convince a woman to continue playing a drinking game with him. Arenas went on social media and called Brown out for being manipulative and creepy. He captioned his post with a strong message for Brown.

“Kwame, you ain’t slick bruh. Stop pushing shots on women like it’s part of the game plan. “No more shots” means NO MORE SHOTS—you moving like a certified CREEP #MrGetThemdrunk #MrshedontevenKnowit #mrgaslighter,” he wrote in the caption.

“This man right here has got himself into a pickle… well, he was trying to get his pickle into someone,” said Arenas in the video, implying Brown was trying to court a woman.

“He was live, decided he was going to troll someone else’s live, he muted his pic but he didn’t mute the pic on the other person’s live, and in the background, he and another person are having a discussion about ethics and morals.”

“See, he’s playing a drinking game; every time you lose, you have to take a shot. Now this woman obviously had done enough of f***ing shots. Because obviously, too many shots mean she’s gonna have to have s** with that thing and you don’t want to have s** with that thing sober.”

“So she makes a phone call to her friends and comes back down. This man is manipulating, gaslighting this woman to play by the rules.”

In the second half of the clip, a part of the original clip is shown where the woman is seemingly unhappy with Brown for questioning her character. Then Brown goes on to clarify that he’s only upholding the rules of the game, and it’s not an issue of “character”.

Things may seem a lot different from a third party’s perspective. We cannot say for certain that Brown was no longer giving her room to exercise her free will, especially until she claims he did that.

Arenas, as a part of his public feud with Brown, just seems to be throwing dirt on him every chance he gets. And I’m not saying Brown is completely innocent here either; he has been involved in many controversial situations himself.

Things have taken an ugly turn in this public feud, which got reignited after Arenas was arrested. Arenas seems to have taken Brown’s public celebrations of his arrest personally and has now gone fully hostile toward Brown since his bail.

I am not saying there is no basis for Arenas’ accusations against Brown, which could get him in serious legal trouble as well. But Arenas is not the one who should be making such accusations publicly if Brown did not do anything wrong. Arenas seems to be using Brown as a punching bag to distract himself from his own troubles.

Therefore, this just seems like Arenas adding fuel to a potential fire around Brown. But if the woman feels like Brown crossed a line in their relationship that day, then she should report him to the authorities as well.
