If NBA Players Had Regular Jobs, Zion Williamson Would Be A Bodyguard, Russell Westbrook Would Be A Construction Worker, Kyrie Irving Would Be Unemployed

The fans also had their say in picking regular jobs for LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, and James Harden.

It sure will be a bizarre world if the NBA stars that we know were just regular people. It’s not that hard to imagine, but surely it’s food for thought that these supreme athletes could sometimes do what the other side does for a living.

There’s a funny side to it, too. Not all of these players might exactly become what they want to if not for a career in basketball, but for the general audience, there are enough professions to categorize them under.

So the memesters who set out to label regular professions received a barrage of hilarious feedback when they took to social media with a meme that saw Chicago Bulls star Alex Caruso as a substitute teacher. Similarly, Joe Ingles was a bus driver, Zion Williamson was a bodyguard, and Jamal Murray was a cameraman.

The fans were equally responsive when they ended up calling Philadelphia 76ers’ Ben Simmons and Los Angeles Lakers’ Russell Westbrook construction workers. Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic was called a grocery bagger, while James Harden was apparently qualified enough to be a coastline guard. LeBron James and Anthony Davis weren’t off the list either and were named Disney employees.

Milwaukee Bucks’ Bobby Portis is President. Surely, that took the cake, while Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets went unemployed. Also joining the jobless category was former Laker Carmelo Anthony.

While Ingles and Murray generated the most laughs, Bojan Bogdanovic and Bones Hyland found their names on the list as well.

There Are NBA Stars Who Now Have Regular Jobs Outside Of Basketball

While some players look for a more peaceful life after giving it their all on the hardwood during their playing days, some of them look to come back to the sport in a more non-playing, regular capacity.

Take, for instance, the likes of Shaquille ‘O Neal who is pretty much an analyst and businessman. Reggie Miller, Charles Barkley, Bill Bradley, and have all had careers ranging from sports analysts and commentators to having a go at politics. How the above-mentioned present generation players plan their post-playing days is anyone’s guess.
