Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics have finally managed to make it to the NBA Finals. There’s no doubt that this is a fantastic achievement for a team that has managed to make it to the Eastern Conference Finals multiple times in the past few seasons but was simply unable to get past the hump.

A recent statistic shared by Slam Studios on Instagram revealed that Jayson Tatum is the third-youngest player to lead his team to the NBA Finals. The two people in front of him are LeBron James and Kevin Durant, who were 22 and 23 respectively when leading their teams to the NBA Finals.

Any time one is mentioned alongside LeBron James and Kevin Durant on a list, that is usually a good thing. It is insane to think about how young Jayson Tatum is right now, and he will continue to be elite for a long time in the future. It is quite possible that he will win an MVP in the future as well.

It remains to be seen if the Boston Celtics will be able to actually win the NBA Finals, and get their first championship since 2008. There are definitely people who believe that they could win the 2022 championship, but the series definitely won’t come easy for the Boston Celtics.

The Golden State Warriors are a team that has plenty of championship experience, and they still have their original core 3 of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. They also have a solid group of younger players surrounding them. The Golden State Warriors should definitely be considered the favorite in the series.

With that being said, the Boston Celtics definitely have a chance of winning this series if Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown end up performing at their best. It is clear that this series will be a battle, and we’ll see who ends up on top.
