Magic Johnson Says That The 76ers Need To Trade Ben Simmons: “He Needs A Fresh Start.”

1 Min Read

Ben Simmons is a talented player who just had one of the worst playoff series of his career. While there is no doubt that he severely underperformed, he is still a player that many franchises would want on their roster.

Magic Johnson has recently suggested that the Philadelphia 76ers should trade Ben Simmons. After his Game 7 performance, there have been many who have echoed that sentiment. Johnson suggested that Ben Simmons is a player who requires a new environment.

He needs a new start, a fresh start. So it’s time to trade him. It will be good for the Sixers as well as good for Ben. And his confidence. He needs to get with a veteran so that they can probably bring that confidence back. Make him understand that if you’re aggressive, it makes the team better.

There is no doubt that there’s still a lot of untapped potential left with Ben Simmons. Hopefully, he can improve next season, whether it be with the 76ers or otherwise. Sometimes, it’s all about being in the right situation and having the right mentality.
