NBA Fans Blast Lakers After They Get Blown Out By The Timberwolves: “Trade The Team If You Want To Win.”

The Los Angeles Lakers have recently been blown out 107-83 in a terrible loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. The majority of the team struggled to get it going on offense, and it was clear that they were simply getting outplayed by the younger, hungrier team.

A lot of NBA fans blasted the Lakers for their woeful performance. No Lakers fan was happy with the way that they lost. On the other hand, a lot of opposing fans took the opportunity to roast the team and their fans. There is no question that this was not how many expected the night to go, and many expressed their displeasure underneath the Lakers’ post-game Twitter post.

We’ll see how the Los Angeles Lakers respond to this devastating loss. There’s no question that they have been inconsistent to start the season, losing games just as they’re starting to build momentum. Thus far, the chemistry has certainly been tenuous at best, though it is quite possible that it will improve in the future.

To be fair to the Los Angeles Lakers, they are still missing LeBron James with an abdominal strain. At the same time, it feels as though they should be able to blow out a team that was on a big losing streak, even without the services of their best superstar, as they still had Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis. Hopefully, they are able to improve in the near future.

A championship contender is not built in a day. The Los Angeles Lakers have a lot of talented stars and veterans on paper, but assistant coach Phil Handy aptly said that “paper doesn’t win championships”. Perhaps the Lakers can get it together, but there’s clearly a lot of work that needs to be done. They have great players, but those players need to learn how to fit beside one another. They are an older and experienced squad though, so it’s likely they’ll figure it out.
