In 75 years of existence, the NBA has seen incredible players that made a huge impact on the game. Ever since the 1940s, many players have delighted fans while taking the competition to the next level.

The best years of the league came in the 80s, even though we saw big players before like Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, and Willis Reed, to name a few. Ever since the 80s decade arrived, many fans discovered their love for the game, flooding arenas and witnessing the biggest rivalry in league history.

The next decades presented us with more legends that took the game to the next level and made the NBA the global phenom it is right now. During these times, many players delighted fans, winning many accolades and leaving their mark on the game.

NBA Fans Engage In A Heated Debate Regarding Legendary Squads

That’s why recently, Bleacher Report asked fans about the best All-Decade NBA team. They went from the 80s to the 2010s, presenting legendary teams for each decade. As usual, this sparked big reactions from fans.

1980s All-Decade Team: Larry Bird, Julius Erving, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Hakeem Olajuwon

1990s All-Decade Team: John Stockton, Scottie Pippen, Michael Jordan, Karl Malone, Hakeem Olajuwon

2000s All-Decade Team: Jason Kidd, Tim Duncan, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Shaquille O’Neal

2010s All-Decade Team: James Harden, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard

Many fans reacted to this, giving their pick on the best team of all, and others saying that some teams were missing certain players that deserved a spot more than others.

80s team was the best. Today’s game Jordan averages 45 PPG and Bird 40 PPG and Magic running the fast break with Dr. J AND jordan with Bird set to launch all day from 3s. Malone was a beast back then too.

shooting guards in the 80s are weak that is why jordan racking up points…

My money is on the 90s team in a 7-game series. They set records the other decades couldn’t beat.

Debatable all decade line ups but does speak volumes to why MJ & LeBron are the clear top two. Being the best in two different decades in the modern era is unique to them.

I would have Nique over Dr J on the 80s team. Dr J was much more of a 70’s into the very early 80’s influencer than the overall 80’s.

Question. Would Jordan really be on the 80s team? Up until the end of the decade, he was considered a scorer who couldn’t get his team over the hump. I honestly feel the spot should go to Isiah Thomas. 3 NBA finals appearances and back to back titles.

Magic, Mike n Bird.. That’s a brutal 123

That 2000’s team is tough, but I wouldn’t bet against the 80’s.

So Steve Nash wins back to back MVPs (fairly or not) and he ain’t even the 2000s PG. Disrespectful

I’ll take the 80s

Take Lebron off that 2000 squad and put T Mac or KG or switch timmy to the 3. Best 5,6 players of the 2000’s. Then A.I.

That 90s team

00s. Kobe Shaq Timmy. Good luck.

1. 2000s

2. 80s

3. 10s

4. 90s

Am going with any team that Hakeem olajuwon is on

90’s team, close competition from 80’s & 2000’s team though!

90s. You ain’t stopping Dream and MJ. Also, both best defensive players in league history

90s. If you take all these players in their prime for their respective decades, you got Stockton w/Malone, MJ w/pippin, and Dr3am shaking off Shaq?

What about Reggie killer as a small forward in the 90s or was he playing a different position back then.

Idk Kobe LeBron and Shaq would be insane with them 3 alone

Lol i only see 2 people on two different teams . Jordan and lebron are the greatest basketball players ever . Choose bel

I’d say the 2000s team but that 2010 team ain’t even got a center

The team with Shaq always wins

So disrespectful that ai isn’t in here at all

2000s got 4 guys in the top 10 of all time cmon

As usual, when fans debate, things get really interesting. The duels between teams from different eras always spark big discussions. Everybody has something to say about it, which makes it hard to find a real ‘winner’ or a final decision. Still, all these teams feature players that did a lot in the league and became legends thanks to their incredible performances.
