Patrick Beverley Flexes Impressive Versace Robe During Epic Interview After Wolves Secure Western Playoff Spot

2 Min Read

Hours after his team’s crucial play-in victory over the Clippers on Tuesday, Timberwolves guard Patrick Beverley made sure to let the world know how he was feeling.

In an exclusive ESPN interview, the veteran guard sported a $600 Versace robe as he explained why last night’s win was such a big deal for him.

“Obviously, you know, playing a team where you put blood, sweat, and tears into… I didn’t want to make it about them but it kinda was. I’m just fortunate, man, we came together as a team. Our young guys showed up. We have a hell of a coach, he put us in a position to be successful all season and we really locked up. We sat down and we defended last night and I’m fortunate to get a win.”

He also explained the “emotion” he expressed after the final buzzer.

“I wouldn’t say emotion, I would say passion. And I know you three for sure understand. It’s so much more than a business than what it really is. You all understand that wen you give your heart and soul to a team and you took a team to a place they’ve never been. It’s not to rain on the Clippers or anything, it’s all about the Minnesota Timberwolves, but it just feels good. It feels good man. It really does.”

Beverley only scored 7 points, but his fingerprints were all over the game, especially on defense. It’s all the little plays, the ones that don’t show up on the stat sheet, that is exactly where Bev makes his impact, and why he is thriving in Minnesota.

While the future is still unclear for Pat and his young Wolves, we can say they are a team headed in the right direction and kudos to them for taking the time to celebrate.

Maybe someday soon, they’ll have even bigger milestones to smile about.
