Giannis Antetokounmpo remains one of the best players in the league. Since entering the NBA, the Milwaukee Bucks superstar has steadily grown into a superstar and even led the organization to an NBA Championship in the 2022-23 NBA season.

Apart from that, Giannis Antetokounmpo is a 2x NBA MVP, 1x NBA DPOY, 1x NBA Finals MVP, and has continued to play at an elite level. The Greek Freak is dominating the league this season as well by averaging a stunning 31.7 PPG, 11.8 RPG, and 5.2 APG.

Unsurprisingly, Giannis is in contention to win the third MVP award of his career. With that being said, one would think there will come a time when the 28-year-old’s name will be included in the all-time debates.

Shaquille O’Neal Doesn’t Have Giannis Antetokounmpo In His All-Time Top 5 NBA Players

As good as Giannis is right now, he is still far from building a resume strong enough to be considered a top 5 player in the history of the league. With that being said, the WNBA star Candace Parker joined Shaquille O’Neal on a recent episode of ‘NBA on TNT.’

The two discussed whether Antetokounmpo has already cracked their individual list of the top 5 NBA players of all time. While Parker has already put Giannis on her list, Shaq respectfully agreed.

Parker: Giannis, when it’s all said and done, is in my top 5. I think he has transcended the way the game is played and I think he is top 5.

Shaq: Giannis is the man. I’m not gonna argue with the lovely Candace Parker because she said Giannis is top 5. She said he’s top 5, I don’t have him in my top 5, but I’m not discrediting him.

As O’Neal mentioned, he is not discrediting him. Earlier, Shaq had praised Giannis, and he certainly respects his game. All things considered, the all-time top 5 players list is different for every person, and for O’Neal, Giannis doesn’t crack it.
