10 months have passed since Kobe Bryant was killed in a fatal helicopter crash in Calabasas. The Los Angeles Lakers legend lived a happy life and everybody will always remember him and all the things he did for the game of basketball and more. Kobe left a great family and no day goes by that they don’t remember him.
His wife, Vanessa Bryant, has been sharing posts on social media to remember the late icon. Recently, she remembered the first time she met Kobe when the pair went to Disneyland on a date. 21 years ago, Kobe’s love story began. Vanessa took to Instagram to share a pic of Kobe and herself, captioning it with the date they first met.
“Love at first sight 11/27/1999,” she wrote.
At the time, Kobe was 20, pursuing a rapping career but he didn’t make it. However, the prize was bigger for him since he found the love of his life in Vanessa. They got married in 2001 and their love story was something good until Kobe sadly left this world last January, along with his daughter Gianna and seven others.
Last year, the Black Mamba had shared a similar message to Vanessa, calling that moment the ‘date’ of his life.

The love these two had for each other was unmeasurable. Kobe left a huge void for all his fans in the world and one even bigger for his family. Luckily, everybody remembers him with love, like the kind person he was during his life.
