Ja Morant simply cannot catch a break at the moment. He is currently being investigated by the NBA for issues related to firearms after he flashed a gun on Instagram.

Ja Morant has been suspended by the Memphis Grizzlies and many people have already called him out. The latest to talk about the situation are some NFL players on a podcast including Philadelphia Eagles star AJ Brown.

AJ Brown made a joke at Ja Morant’s expense saying, “They say your boy trynna be Larry Hoover man. He needs to chill.”

The others on the podcast went on to discuss that Ja Morant putting himself in these situations makes no sense, saying, “He ain’t gotta be around it though, which is what’s crazy… He sure as hell don’t. That boy really putting himself in the trenches.”

They went on to make a few more jokes at Morant’s expense, and it’s clear that a lot of people don’t have too much respect for the way he’s been behaving. Violence has taken a lot of young superstars over the years, and jokes aside, most wouldn’t want to see Ja Morant become another member of that club. But doing that by trolling him might not be the best idea either.

A Video Making Fun Of Ja Morant Using An Eminem Song Went Viral

In Eminem’s iconic movie 8 Mile, he wrote a rap about someone that was pretending to act tough and like a gangster even though they had no reason to. Some fans made a parody of it to apply it to Ja Morant’s life, and the video ended up going viral.

There isn’t a lot to be said in defense of Ja Morant at the end, he is in the middle of a media storm. The Grizzlies are the 2nd seed in the Western Conference but this might end up derailing their season. They also have some other issues to deal with on the injury front, but the team will be more concerned with ensuring that Ja Morant gets back on track. If he can get his head right and come back to lead the Grizzlies deep into the playoffs, fans will forget about all this other stuff soon enough.
