The Phoenix Suns landed Kevin Durant and formed a superteam with Chris Paul and Devin Booker, but they are not done yet.

According to Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, Derrick Rose of the New York Knicks could be a player of interest for the Suns on the buyout market.

The buyout market is relatively bare at the point guard position at the moment.

However, there is a primary candidate the team is monitoring, according to sources: New York Knicks guard Derrick Rose.

Derrick Rose is averaging 5.8 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game this season, and he could be a good backup point guard. He still can score 15 points per game coming off the bench and could help both Chris Paul and Cameron Payne.

Is This The Last Chance For Derrick Rose To Win A Title?

This would be a very interesting situation for Rose, who looked ready to mark an era in the NBA during his days with the Chicago Bulls, but injuries prevented him from doing bigger things.

After he was traded from Chicago, he’s spent time on a series of teams, and now that he’s on the Knicks, it doesn’t seem like he’ll have a big chance to win the championship.

Following tenures on the Minnesota Timberwolves, Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons and Knicks, joining the Suns would be huge for D-Rose, as they have raised to the top of the favorites list with Kevin Durant.

They’re looking like a solid candidate to win the title, even though Devin Booker recently said they can’t be considered a superteam since the only All-Star they have this season is KD, who was one of the top vote-getters for the most recent All-Star Game.

The Suns are in a privileged position now, and Durant has a lot of pressure on his shoulders, too, after making this trade happen. The 2x NBA champion is set to make his debut with the team next week, hoping to start something good for them, who aspire to win it all this season.

If they add Rose to the roster, the Suns would be even better now, and fans will surely keep an eye on this situation.
