The Boston Celtics find themselves in a tough spot after falling 0-2 vs. the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals. It was the Jimmy Butler show in the fourth quarter of the game.

Butler and the Heat caught fire after Grant Williams talked trash to the 33-year-old. NBA legend turned analyst Shaquille O’Neal gave his honest opinion on Williams messing with Jimmy. He warned the Celtics players not to indulge in any trash-talking with Butler and leave him alone.

“I remember one time, I was walking, and a dog wasn’t bothering me. Then I decided to mess with the dog and it bit,” Shaq said. “Y’all better leave Jimmy Butler alone. That man wasn’t bothering nobody. You don’t start talking trash to Jimmy. Jimmy Freakin Butler.”

The Celtics may have started out the series as the favorites, but they are certainly not playing like them at the moment. Jimmy Butler and the Heat have utterly dominated the 2022 NBA finalists in the first two games of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Sure, the Celtics can still make a comeback in the series, but the first step for them to do so will be to stop trash-talking Butler, who is having a phenomenal run in the 2023 postseason.

Jimmy Butler And Grant Williams Reacted To Their Heated Scuffle After Game 2

One incident can change the outcome of the game. The perfect example of it was the fourth-quarter altercation between Jimmy Butler and Grant Williams.

Following the incident, the Miami Heat went on a 24-9 run to close out the game and get a 111-105 Game 2 win. After the game, Butler addressed the trash talk thrown at him by Williams.

On the other hand, Williams had an NSFW reaction to talking trash to Butler. Despite getting utterly dominated by the Heat, Williams admitted that he respects Butler as a player.
