Skip Bayless has made a lot of enemies during his journalism career, going from active players to fellow analysts to retired legends. The Fox Sports talent is one of the most controversial figures in the world of sports, and that won’t change as long as he’s on TV.

His rivalry with Charles Barkley has been well-documented over the years, and Bayless doesn’t hesitate to call out Barkley whenever he feels like it. Earlier today, he sent a message to the 1993 NBA MVP, calling him a ‘clown’ on social media.

“Still chuckling over a clown calling me an idiot,” the 71-year-old journalist tweeted.

This comes after Barkley reacted to Shannon Sharpe leaving FS1’s Undisputed, the show he shared with Bayless for many years. Chuck called Bayless an ‘idiot’ while joking about the news he read ahead of the 2023 NBA Finals.

Some think that Bayless is reacting to Jalen Rose’s firing from ESPN, but Rose hasn’t called Bayless an ‘idiot’ recently.

They’ve had some back-and-forths in the past, with Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal mocking Bayless and Sharpe’s situations on live TV. Bayless’ wife has shared her concerns about Barkley trying to hurt Skip without any good reason.

Skip has stated that he’s never said anything bad about Charles, but the former player has a lot of animosity toward the veteran reporter.

Skip Bayless Labeled As A Tyrant By Undisputed Sources

Bayless doesn’t have the best reputation within his circle, and plenty of people who work or worked at Undisputed revealed details of how he treats people, how he wants to be treated, the type of comments he wants to hear from his counterparts and more.

It’s clear that he’s not an easy person, and his status as a (in)famous host has allowed him to do a lot of things. Bayless isn’t the most beloved person in the NBA, and he surely doesn’t care about it.

It’ll be interesting to see if Barkley will respond to these claims somehow, and if he does, the answer will be as big as the disrespect.
