If there ever was a doubt that Stephen A. Smith was a fan of Martha Stewart, then his latest take on the TV personality confirms that he indeed is one of her bigger admirers.

Earlier this week, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue revealed Stewart as one of its four cover models for the 2023 edition, and the NBA analyst was quick with a witty liner. “Martha Stewart, I see you,” he said on his podcast K[No]W Mercy with Stephen A. Smith.

“Now I know y’all say what the hell is Stephen A. talking about something like that for? Well, it’s a simple reason, Ladies. None of y’all are beyond your prime. All y’all are got it going on.”

Stewart made history by becoming the oldest model for Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit issue cover. And safe to say, she looks amazing and downright stunning in the images. She took to Instagram to share the news saying:

Martha is a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover star! Martha was approached by @si_swimsuit in November 2022, which gave her roughly three months to prepare for the end-of-January shoot—an experience she walked into with confidence. “Trying new things is very good. Being fearless is very good. Don’t be afraid of anything.” Head to the link in our bio to see more from Martha’s Dominican Republic photoshoot. All said, Smith joins in as one of Stewart’s many fans across the world, and he made sure he paid a rich compliment to the 81-year-old.

Earlier, Stephen A. Smith Gave His Props To Hollywood Icon Robert De Niro

When he’s not dishing out hot takes, Stephen A. Smith keeps tabs on other beats. One of them was about Hollywood legend Robert De Niro announcing he was fathering his seventh child at 79. And this had Smith applaud the actor.

“That’s fantastic, do you have any idea what kind of hope that gives to men everywhere?” Smith asked on his podcast. “That you could be 79 years of age and you still got it going on? Ladies, you see? You talk about the male ego, and you talk about what you know about the male ego, but it’s amazing how, sporadically, periodically, you either don’t feed it, or you’re oblivious to it.”

“So let Stephen A. help you out,” Smith continued. “When you’re 79 and you still want to do that, wanting to do it alone is an accomplishment. Because when you’re in this rat race called the real world, you can be in your 50s and lose interest, your 40s, your 30s, damn sure your 60s. You’re 79, you’re approaching 80 and you’re still getting it on?”

As far as views go, Smith is not the one to hold back when he has something on his mind. Now that the Knicks are out of the playoffs, it looks like Smith is looking at other topics to share his thoughts on.
