Stephen A. Smith Shoots His Shot With Iggy Azalea After Seeing Her At Knicks vs. Celtics Game: “We Like To See Her There, It’s Just Important To Me.”

3 Min Read

Stephen A. Smith is one of the most outspoken sports analysts in America. Either it’s his takes on sports-related topics or anything else, NBA fans enjoy him watching him. Even if they disagree with their takes, the veteran has made himself one of the biggest names in the industry.

Although it’s uncommon watching him talk about other topics, fans really like it when he does it. In the past, we’ve seen the ESPN talent shoot his shot with a reporter on live TV, trying to get some Spanish lessons

We recently saw the 54-year-old aiming even higher, shooting his shot with Australian rapper Iggy Azalea. After Nick Young’s ex-fiancée appeared on the halftime show of the New York Knicks season opener against the Boston Celtics, Smith was delighted with the 31-year-old.

During the following edition of First Take, Stephen A. made it clear he was more than happy to see Azalea doing her thing at the Madison Square Garden. He said it was important for him to watch her at the arena.

“Let me be very clear, at the Garden last night, let’s not forget Iggy Azalea, she was there,” Smith said with a smirk on his face. “We like to see her there, it’s just important to me.”

Even though he was called out by Molly Qerim, who asked him his favorite Iggy’s son, Smith said it was nice to see her and nothing else.

Wednesday night was great for the Knicks fans after the team defeated the Boston Celtics in double overtime. Julius Randle, Evan Fournier and Derrick Rose have a terrific game, leading their squad to the win against a direct rival.

Still, it seems like the happiest fan of all was Stephen A. He enjoyed watching his team beat the C’s. Still, his favorite moment definitely was Iggy’s performance. That was a great way to start the season and Smith only hopes that the MSG keeps things like this, getting wins and bringing Iggy Azalea.
