After Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard got in an altercation on Friday night, people started wondering what led to their encounter and how their relationship would continue after that controversial moment.

Well, D-12 already confirmed there’s no issue between him and his teammate, calling AD his ‘brother’ when asked about the whole situation. In the middle of the Lakers-Suns game, the veteran offered a high five to Davis and The Brow responded.

Moreover, more people spoke on this matter, including Rajon Rondo, one of the leaders of the team. Rondo explained that the two big men are always competing, and they get frustrated sometimes. However, that doesn’t mean they are on bad terms right now.

“It can happen, you know, (stuff) happens all the time,” Rondo said, via the Los Angeles Daily News). “But nevertheless, those two guys, I wouldn’t say they’re best friends, but they get along very well. Dwight’s my best friend some days, AD’s my best friend some days. Other than that, two guys going at it, two guys wanting to compete.

“Frustrations happen on the court, obviously they gotta control things better, but at the same time, when you lose things are more magnified, and the Lakers – it seems crazy, but at the same time, I think we’re in a great place, where we need to be as far as continuing to get better.”

This is everything the Lakers Nation wanted to hear. The 2021/22 season started horribly for them, losing their nine past games, including preseason, and showing a poor face against big rivals like the Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns.

They know they need to turn things around to compete for the title. However, that will take time. Meanwhile, they’ll keep working on their chemistry, trying to overcome all these issues to be as dangerous as they look on paper.
