In what comes as an interesting piece of information, the 2016 Dallas Mavericks had three point guards all born on the same day and year.
Deron Williams, Raymond Felton, and JJ Barea were all born on June 26, 1984, and were on the Mavs roster that season.

Williams signed with the Mavericks in 2015 after he was waived by the Nets. In his two seasons in Dallas, the Illinois native averaged 13.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 6.2 assists. He was waived by the team in 2017.
Felton was part of a huge six-member trade where he, along with Tyson Chandler, was traded to Dallas for Shane Larkin, Wayne Ellington, José Calderón, Samuel Dalembert, and the 34th and 51st picks in the 2014 NBA draft. In his two seasons, he averaged 8.0 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 3.0 assists.
Barea spent his formative years with the Mavericks from 2006 to 2011 and signed with the team again in 2014, playing with them till 2020. In all, he spent 11 seasons with the franchise averaging 8.6 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists.
The Dallas Mavericks Will Have A Busy Summer
After a crushing regular season this time around, the Mavericks will look to bolster their roster with the right pieces around Luka Doncic. With Kyrie Irving forever being involved in trade talks, the front office will have their hands full.
While multiple teams have their hat in the ring for Irving, a recent report suggested that the mercurial point guard will indeed stay in Dallas. Kyrie struggled to find chemistry in Dallas and even failed to make the play-in with Doncic at his side. But the fact that he tried to recruit LeBron James to play for the Mavericks hints at his intention to play for the team.
