Zion Williamson and Ja Morant have made headlines in the past couple of weeks, and not for the best reasons. The No. 1 and No. 2 overall picks in the 2019 NBA Draft were in everybody’s mouths after they starred in controversial yet different situations.

Many fans have reacted to these situations, attacking both Williamson and Morant for their behavior. Trae Young has had enough of that and recently called everybody out for the constant attacks against the young stars (5:20 mark).

“It’s kinda weird being in the NBA. It’s a totally different experience having social media, but it’s crazy, just certain situations that are going on right now with Zion and Ja, but there are other instances that happened,” Young said on his ‘From the Point’ podcast.

Young explains that this feels unfair since he knows them both personally, and he’s expecting them to solve whatever needs to be solved because they’re the future of the league.

“You hate to see it. Know them personally, so I really hope they get out of this situation and pull out on the right side because they’re so talented, they’re so good,” he added.

“The league needs these types of players for it to go, because obviously LeBron, these guys are getting older, so guys are about to start being out of the league.”

After entering the league as two electrifying players, Williamson and Morant have been involved in a series of controversies, but the most recent went over the limit for plenty of fans.

First, Morant allegedly flashed a gun on Instagram Live (he and his camp claimed it was just a lighter), getting a 25-game suspension for that. Then, Zion Williamson was called out by a porn star who accused him of cheating on her with the mother of his future daughter.

Now, they two carry a bad image that’s shared with the rest of the 2019 NBA Draft class. They are the two best players from that class, but their controversies have been too big to ignore for a lot of people.

Trae Young Sends Cryptic Message On LeBron James And Bronny James Potentially Joining The Hawks

Meanwhile, Young is also drawing a lot of attention around the league. The point guard is believed to be the only untouchable player on the Atlanta Hawks roster ahead of free agency.

Moreover, he might be preparing something good for next year when LeBron James and Bronny James could join the team. After the King teased the Hawks’ fans about a potential move to The A, Young reacted on social media, posting a cryptic message.

Young has already been linked with the Los Angeles Lakers, but if he were to play alongside LeBron James, the Hawks will be the most fitting franchise to do that.
