Most basketball fans would agree that LeBron James’ prime years were spent on the Miami Heat. During his time with the Miami Heat, LeBron James was at the peak of his athletic powers, and when combined with his finishing skill and playmaking, he was an absolutely unstoppable force. LeBron James’ dominance resulted in two championships.

There are plenty of great players in Miami Heat history. Dwyane Wade won a title for the team in 2006 with Shaquille O’Neal. Jimmy Butler took them to the Finals in 2020. However, there are many people who will admit that LeBron James is the best player to ever play for the franchise.

Tyler Herro is one of those people. In a recent media appearance, Tyler Herro was asked about who is the best Miami Heat player of all time. Herro mentioned Dwyane Wade’s name in the conversation as well, but Herro seemed to lean towards picking LeBron James because James was his favorite player on the Miami Heat growing up.

I’d have to say LeBron James. I can’t go wrong with D-Wade, LeBron. Either or. But I feel like growing up for me, LeBron was my favorite player on the Heat.

It is clear that LeBron James is the best player to have ever played for the Miami Heat, even though Dwyane Wade is more accomplished. LeBron James made the Miami Heat instant championship contenders by moving there, and with him at the head of their big three, they were mostly unstoppable.

At the end of the day, it is clear that LeBron James should be at least a top 2 player in Miami Heat history. He was the driving force behind two championships, and he won two Finals MVPs with the franchise. Anyone who grew up watching LeBron James with the Heat knows how dominant he was, and it seems as though Herro is one of those people.
