Victor Oladipo was trying to find his best version this season before another injury struck, leaving the player without the chance to compete in the 2023 NBA Playoffs.

After leaving the court on Saturday, the guard received terrible news. According to Shams Charania, Oladipo suffered a season-ending injury during Game 3 of the Milwaukee Bucks series.

“Miami Heat guard Victor Oladipo has suffered a season-ending torn patellar tendon in his left knee, sources tell. Just another injury the two-time All-Star will work to overcome. “

This is really sad, knowing the history he’s had with injuries. Ever since he was on the Indiana Pacers, Oladipo was injury prone. His career appeared to be going in the right direction, but injuries started bothering him, decreasing his level little by little.

The former Orlando Magic player claimed he would return to his best level with time, but just when he was reaching a decent level, another injury happens. One can’t imagine how frustrating this must be, but everybody hopes to see him back on the court soon.

Jimmy Butler Also Picked Up An Injury During This Game

The Heat almost received more bad news at the same time since Jimmy Butler almost picked up a big injury in the same game. However, the team announced that he suffered a bruised glute.

Miami had an incredible Game 3, taking the lead in this series behind Butler’s 30 points. Without Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks have struggled to beat the Heat, and it’s mandatory that he returns for Game 4.

It’s unclear if he’ll be ready, but the Greek Freak is taking care of his health before making his return to the court. Hopefully, every player in this series can return to their best version soon and make an impact on their teams.

Oladipo will endure another long recovery, and we wish him well in this unfortunate situation.
