The relationship between James Harden and Giannis Antetokounmp isn’t exactly a positive one. After Giannis took multiple shots at the Rockets star over the All-Star break, Harden responded with this comment:
“I wish I could just be 7 feet and run and dunk. That takes no skill at all,” he told ESPN’s Rachel Nichols. “I actually have to learn how to play basketball and have skill. I’ll take that any day.”
But it didn’t end there. Following the verbal jab, the Beard took to Twitter where he tweeted out a rather cryptic and mysterious message (one that he had to try multiple times before getting right). The fans, wanting to hype up the rivalry, used it to add fuel to the smoldering fire.

The heart of the joke is Harden’s apparent struggles just spelling the darn thing right.

But seriously, these fans are ruthless. Whatever seems to be going on between Harden and Giannis, it won’t be going away anytime soon, especially with memes like those being constantly thrown around.
It’ll be interesting to see what the next blow will be. Intentional or not, there is an undeniable level of tension between them that is only growing with each passing day.
