Draymond Green is pretty confident in himself and his team. After being a contributor to the Golden State Warriors’ success in recent years, it’s not a surprise that Green boasts huge confidence against any challenge in front of him. Now, however, he appears to be taking things to the next level, claiming he changed the game of basketball with the Splash Brothers, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

“I think I changed the game of basketball with the help of Steph Curry,” Green said on ‘All The Smoke0 podcast, via NBA insider Drew Shiller. “I think Steph Curry changed the game of basketball with the help of me. I think it was a match made in heaven. And then Klay Thompson … us three changed the game forever.”

Curry is widely considered the greatest shooter of all time. The point guard made a big impact on the game, and he’s surely seen as the player that changed the game and shaped the current NBA. He made his way to the top of the league from beyond the arc, as well as Thompson. Right now the triple is one of the most important plays in basketball and all of that is because of Curry and Thompson.

However, it’s still a big claim from Green to say they three changed the game. He’s a great defender, one of the best in the league, and is a valuable part of the Warriors roster.

We’re quite not sure what is his contribution to this changing of the game, but he did accompany Curry and Thompson on their way to the top and helped them win championships.
