NBA Rumors: Mavericks Are Craving A Secondary Ballhandler To Pair Next To Luka Doncic

1 Min Read

As the Dallas Mavericks look to secure their place as title contenders, the play of Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis will be key in determining their success.

But it definitely wouldn’t hurt to bring in some additional talent. The word on the street is that Dallas is looking to do just that, with a particular focus on adding another ball-handler alongside Luka in the backcourt.

Naturally, fans conjured up all kinds of guesses as to who they might add, with names like Austin Rivers, Russell Westbrook, and even Jimmy Butler topping the list.

It remains to be seen who Dallas will bring in, but whoever it is could push them into title-contention status. Needless to say, this is an important step for them, and the front office would be wise to think long and hard about it.

We’ll see what they decide to do soon enough…
