LeBron James Points At Every Cavs Player Who Fouled Him After Referee Ignores Call

LeBron James was less than pleased after getting fouled during a layup and pointed at every Cavaliers player who fouled him.

LeBron James was annoyed when the referee didn’t call a foul in his favor. Driving to the basket in the second quarter against the Cavaliers, James was furious when the referee didn’t immediately blow his whistle, and proceeded to point at every player on the Cavs that touched him while he drove to the basket to prove his point.

James clearly didn’t appreciate the referee ignoring the blatant contact that was made while he was driving to the basket and wanted two free throws to be rewarded to him. The other referees agreed with James, and he was awarded two free throws to help the Lakers try and get a foot back into the game.

James had a decent game, putting up 26 points in last night’s 134-110 loss for the Lakers, along with six rebounds and three assists. But the biggest stat of the night was the six turnovers that James committed, which contributed to the Lakers’ loss to the Cavaliers. James had over a quarter of the Lakers 20 turnovers last night.

Despite the loss, it was a special night for James. Not only was it a chance for him to return home to the Cavaliers, his hometown franchise and the team he played for 11 years across two stints, and won a championship with, but it was also a chance for him to see his son, Bronny James, score his first points as an NBA player.

LeBron James spoke after the game and complimented the composure of his son, and how he was able to handle the big moment. While the loss will undoubtedly sting, James can walk away with a positive moment from the game, even if it wasn’t one that he was at the center of.

Cavaliers Pay Tribute To LeBron And Bronny

The Cavaliers pulled off a classy move last night while playing against the Lakers, as they paid tribute to LeBron James and Bronny with a montage of moments the two shared during James’ two stints with the Cavaliers. It was a beautiful video, that featured some adorable clips from James’ time with the Cavs.

However, James noted after the game that he wasn’t able to enjoy the montage as the Lakers were running far behind the Cavaliers and wanted to focus on trying to erase the deficit. That didn’t happen, but one can hope that James can watch this montage later, outside of the stressful environment of a basketball game, and enjoy it for what it was.

James has started the season really well, averaging 21.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, 6.6 assists, 0.2 steals, and 0.6 blocks per game. Despite turning 40 in December, James is putting up superstar numbers, albeit not at the same ludicrous level we used to see from him during his prime.

With the two losses, the Lakers may have to re-evaluate their ceiling, as their 3-0 start to the season made them feel almost invincible, but these two losses in succession may bring them back down to earth.
