The salary cap has grown from $123.6 million last season to $136 million for 2023-24. Here’s a breakdown of the player salaries for the remainder of the league for this upcoming season:

– 170 players will make between $1 million – $4 million

– 115 players will make between $4 million – $10 million

– 79 players will make between $10 million – $19 million

– 32 players will make between $20 million – $29 million

There were concerns with this new CBA that the middle class of NBA players would suffer, that we’d have a bunch of players making top dollar while many would have to settle for minimum deals. While the biggest group is certainly that $1 million to $4 million bracket, there are still a lot of players who are getting paid a decent amount of money.

His passion for the sport was ignited after witnessing the high-octane offense of the Steve Nash-led Phoenix Suns. Among the Suns, Shawn Marion stood out to Gautam as an all-time underrated NBA player. Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
