Nikola Jokic rightfully stole all the headlines as the Denver Nuggets won the 2023 NBA title, but he’d be the first to say he couldn’t have done it without Jamal Murray.

The Canadian enjoyed a terrific postseason run of his own, averaging 26.1 PPG, 5.7 RPG, 7.1 APG, 1.5 SPG, and 0.3 BPG. Murray had his fair share of memorable games and he recently took to Twitter to ask fans what their favorite game of the playoffs was.

A fan went with Game 5 between the Miami Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks, which went to overtime, with the Heat emerging victorious.

heat vs bucks game 5 is the only good answer

The Los Angeles Lakers getting knocked out in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals was the favorite for one fan.

Lakers being knocked out. Always.

A fan chose Game 4 between the Lakers and the Golden State Warriors, which saw Lonnie Walker have a big fourth quarter with 15 points.

Game 3 of the Finals was the favorite for one, as both Jokic and Murray had 30-point triple-doubles.

Game 7 between the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers was the favorite for a fan because of Jayson Tatum’s 51-point explosion.

There were honestly just so many incredible games to pick from. The final two games between the Bucks and the Heat were so good, with Jimmy Butler leading his team to victory. Games 3 and 4 between the Phoenix Suns and the Nuggets were spectacular as well, while the last game of the Finals was certainly one to remember too. The fans certainly enjoyed all the action, as the 2023 playoffs were the most watched NBA postseason of the last five years.

Jamal Murray’s Special Postseason Run

Murray has had to hear in the last few years about how his play in the Bubble was just a fluke, but he dispelled that notion in these playoffs in some style. Draymond Green was very impressed by what he saw and claimed that Murray was just as much of a key as Jokic to the Nuggets’ dominance.

Paul Pierce went as far as to say he is the best point guard in the league now, as Murray has just been showered with praise. The most important thing now would be to keep up this level of play that he displayed, and that would be key to the Nuggets becoming a dynasty, something that head coach Michael Malone wants.
