“I’ll ‘Bully The Bully,’ Gimme My Money,” Shaquille O’Neal Bet And Won Money Against Zach Randolph After Lakers Beat Grizzlies

Shaquille O'Neal won a bet against Zach Randolph over Game 1 of the Lakers vs. grizzlies series, and then used his own words to ask him to pay up.

The Los Angeles Lakers vs. Memphis Grizzlies series is a tough one to predict. On the one hand, the Grizzlies arguably have more talent on their roster and have the 2nd seed. On the other hand, the Lakers have stars like LeBron James and Anthony Davis that know how to win.

While most people would struggle to pick a winner, Shaquille O’Neal has stuck with his Los Angeles Lakers and already won big. He seemingly had a bet against Zach Randolph who thought the Memphis Grizzlies would win, and hilariously showed up on the NBA TV set to get his money.

“Excuse me, in the words of the great Zach Randolph, ‘I’ll bully the bully,'” Shaquille O’Neal said, hilariously reaching into Randolph’s suit pocket to seemingly get the money. “Gimme my money… Good job, I appreciate it. I’ll see you about that Game 2.”

Shaquille O’Neal bet money against Zach Randolph that his Lakers would beat Randolph’s Grizzlies in Game 1.

Well, Shaq wasted no time in betting his cash after the Lakers won… 💰

He had the entire panel including Isiah Thomas and Zach Randolph himself in splits with his antics, there are few people as hilarious as Shaquille O’Neal. It’s hard to tell if they had a bet or if this was just Shaq being funny from a Lakers legend to a Grizzlies legend. But it wouldn’t be surprising to find out that they did wager a nice sum backing their teams.

Shaquille O’Neal is one of the greatest Lakers ever, he won three championships, three Finals MVPs, and an MVP with the franchise. He is a suitable mascot for the storied team, and Randolph is no less deserving on the other end. While his list of accolades pales in comparison to Shaq, the two-time All-Star was the face of the ‘Grit and Grind’ Grizzlies, becoming the face of the franchise for a while.

Shaquille O’Neal Could Have Won A Billion Dollar Bet Against Charles Barkley If He Had Taken It

This postseason could already have proved very profitable for Shaquille O’Neal. Before the play-in game between the Atlanta Hawks and Miami Heat, Charles Barkley was ready to bet a billion dollars that the Heat would win.

“But I think because of Spoelstra and those three guys, they gonna beat the Hawks. Come on, the Hawks stink,” said Charles Barkley on Inside The NBA before the game. Shaquille O’Neal seemed surprised by the confidence asking Barkley if he would bet on it. Charles responded, “Bet it. Whatever you want to. A billion dollars…”

If Shaquille O’Neal had taken that bet, he wouldn’t have to go collecting from Randolph, considering that the Hawks did beat the Heat. It must be great for these stars to just talk about basketball and get up to antics like this, it certainly makes entertaining television for the rest of us.
