Shannon Sharpe had a hot take on how people defended Michael Jordan, and he used the infamous incident of the Chicago Bulls icon socking Steve Kerr in the face as a reference.
“The man punched Steve Kerr in his eye and people will say, well, he couldn’t see out that eye anyway,” the analyst said on Undisputed while sharing his two cents on how Jordan wouldn’t apologize to Isiah Thomas after the latter demanded a public apology on national television.

It’s worth adding that Kerr did receive an apology from Jordan, who pointed out on ‘The Last Dance’ that he “felt small” after punching his teammate.
The duo even developed a mutual respect for each other after the shooter paid Jordan’s faith in full during the NBA 1997 Finals against the Utah Jazz with a game-winner.
Safe to say, Sharpe knew how Jordan interacted and, in his way, told Thomas that he shouldn’t see an apology coming anytime soon.
Isiah Thomas Revealed That Michael Jordan Sent People Privately To Apologize For His Controversial Comments
Isiah Thomas didn’t mince words when he spoke about his soured relationship with Michael Jordan, and he didn’t forget to bring up the fact that the latter should have apologized to him. That said, he also added that the Bulls superstar sent people privately with his token of remorse.
“My man @ShannonSharpe @RealSkipBayless please listen to my words, the apology has come from his people speaking for him privately, my request is you said it publicly take it back publicly don’t send your people to apologize behind the scenes,” Thomas tweeted.

It’s unlikely that Jordan will bother coming forward with an apology and, for that matter, even acknowledge Thomas’ demands.
He didn’t miss a beat in berating the Detroit Pistons legend, and he did so on a forum that the world has easy access to. Only time will tell if that hatchet is ever going to be buried.
