Russell Westbrook has a variety of options to continue his NBA career right now, but the decision won’t be easy to make, as the player will wait until after the All-Star break to make a final decision on his future in the league.

It was reported that his future in the league was in jeopardy since no team in the association really had a spot for him, but that’s not a problem for Russ, at least right now. The former NBA MVP has been linked with a move to several teams, including the Los Angeles Clippers and Chicago Bulls.

The Miami Heat have also joined Russ’ sweepstakes, but nothing is official right now. The player is studying his options, and now the Clippers have started talking with him, trying to see what they can do together.

Miami Heat Aren’t Getting The Best References About Russell Westbrook

As for the Heat, they’ll also have the chance to talk with Westbrook, but perhaps they’ll avoid that conversation if recent rumors are true. According to Heat insider Barry Jackson, the team has gotten ‘concerning feedback’ regarding Westbrook, which could ruin everything for the Floridian team.

During a recent conversation with a fan that named Westbrook the best player in the buyout market, Jackson revealed that the Heat would stay away from Westbrook after receiving this info.

It’s unclear what that info is, but it seems like it’s serious enough to keep the Heat away from Westbrook. The former NBA MVP has earned a reputation around the league, and no matter how good he does, the label of being toxic goes with him everywhere.

After his exit from the Los Angeles Lakers, he was labeled a vampire, which is a terrible thing to say. Russ has shown time and time again that he’s willing to do what he’s asked to do, but people seem to enjoy hating him. We hope he can find a new team in the league and show what he’s still capable of doing.
